Prayer and meditation are vital cornerstones of all services at the Temple of the Living God. In addition to such group prayer and meditation, members are encouraged to engage in these practices on a regular basis in their homes, at work, at times of stillness or among family or friends.

Prayer for specific needs or individuals is offered in a number of ways. 

All requests are honored by a dedicated group of individuals in our Prayer Ministry who are committed to the power of prayer and who include those requests in their personal prayer work.

All prayers are contained in a Prayer Chest which is included as a special part of Sunday services.  A Prayer Chest is located in the lobby for specific healing requests. Requests may also be submitted via phone or on our website: Prayer Requests

In addition, Chaplains are available each Sunday to pray with individuals as requested.

  Do you need a listening ear? Someone who will hold sacred space with you? Someone who will listen and hold what is said in the strictest of confidence? Someone who will pray with you? Someone who is there when you are in need? A chaplain is available both before and after Sunday service to support you on your spiritual journey.
